50 DAYS AT SCHOOL!

Today Room 5 celebrated 50 days at school!

We have had a fantastic 50 days and have learnt so many new things.

Today Ms. Bonsey made 50 cupcakes and we had to figure out how many cupcakes we could have each.  We then iced them and ate them.

We also created towers and bridges with cups and straws and Krue even made a flower with 50 popsicle sticks.

We all made cities using the uni-fix blocks and then we talked about the buildings and described them using mathematical terms like equal, not equal, greater than and less than.

Teen Numbers

We have worked really hard this week to identify the difference between teen numbers and ty numbers (like twenty, forty, seventy).

Today we iced cookies and had to make sure that there were only 15 chocolate chips on our cookies.

Jolly Jumping Jellybeans

WOW Room 5!

Today at assembly Room 5 read our story "Jolly Jumping JellyBeans" to the WHOLE school.  We were amazing.  We also wore the hats we made last week with our buddy class.
