Room 5 we are going to thrive!

Welcome back to another exciting year at Rangikura School and Room 5.  It is great to have you as part of our school community and of our class.  If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask me before or after school or email me at nicolab@rangikura.school.nz

Most of the children know me and I am excited to be starting off another new year at Rangikura, getting to know your children and growing and learning with them.

I live with my two girls, Samantha who has just turned 13 and Jessica who is 7, in Upper Hutt.  I have been involved in childcare and education for most of my working life and I am loving teaching and living in New Zealand again after a long period overseas.  The girls and I love camping, cycling and watching movies and reading a good book in the sun!

It is going to be another busy and exciting year and I know we will get many opportunities to meet and share in your child’s learning and growth.

I will share more information about classroom routines and homework expectations over the next few weeks as the children settle into school.
