Done and Dusted!

Swimming is over for another year!
We had a blast and the children were amazing and learnt so many new skills and improved on last years, well done to everyone!
Have a restful weekend - I think we all deserve it.

Te Manu Tukutuku

Today Room 5 was lucky enough to spend the afternoon with our buddy's from Room 9 who showed us how to make Te Manu Tukutuku - a kite.
The kite we made was a te manu taratahi - a triangle and we used paper and cardboard rather than the traditional flax and toitoi.
We learnt so much.
Thanks Room 9!

All in line!

In Room 5 this week we have been talking about taller, shorter, long and longer and together we lined up from the tallest person in Room 5 to the shortest person in Room 5.
We did it all by ourselves and we worked really well as a team to make sure we were all in height order.

LEARNING ABOUT ASTHMA

Today we were so lucky to have some people come and share their knowledge with us about Asthma.
We met the Puffer Fish who showed us how to use the puffer and what to do if someone we know has an asthma emergency.
